Last weekend the Ivy Leaf took a break from gigs and classes and ventured out west to East Durham, NY for the 2011 Northeast Piper’s Tionol, where we spent the weekend playing tunes, listening to some amazing musicians and hiking waterfalls. The great thing about events like this and the Catskills Irish Arts week is the opportunity to not only see and meet some of the older musicians, but also to see friends from as far away as Detroit, Florida, Minnesota and the DC area that we only see once or twice a year.

An added bonus of going to these events is that photographer Larry Green is there taking amazing photos of everyone. Finally, some professional photos with all four of us!
Thanks again, Larry!
